What it actually is

The D1 is a serious piece of robotics engineering — not a toy, and not an AI pet companion. Built on reinforcement-learning motion control, it adapts autonomously to grass, gravel, stairs and uneven terrain. It runs at up to 3.5 m/s, jumps 35 cm vertically, climbs 16 cm stairs continuously, handles slopes up to 40°, and performs backflips, biped standing and jump sequences via the included joystick controller.

If you're looking for a robot that recognises your face and cuddles on the sofa — this isn't it. If you're looking for one of the most capable quadruped robots available in the UK at this price point, read on.

D1 Edu
The open development platform. Same motion hardware, plus full secondary development support: SDK packages, standardised interfaces, robot models and simulation interfaces, with support for environments including NVIDIA Isaac Sim. Expansion ports (Ethernet ×1, USB ×2, Power ×2, SBUS ×1, UART ×1) and compatibility with mounted LiDAR, RGB-D cameras and custom payloads. This is an enquiry-to-order product. Payment is by bank transfer against a full VAT invoice — we do not process card payments for this item. Estimated delivery of approximately 4 weeks from confirmed payment and tracking throughout.

Returns

14-day return period from delivery. Orders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before dispatch. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost (insured courier required for this item). You may inspect the item as you would in a shop; diminished value from use beyond inspection may be deducted from the refund.
