A slip lead, is a type of dog lead designed for training and controlling dogs during walks or obedience exercises. It consists of a loop that can be slipped over a dog's head and positioned around its neck, similar to a necklace.
The larger ring, which functions as the main loop, goes around the dog's neck.
This pressure can act as a corrective signal when the dog pulls on the leash or displays unwanted behaviors.
The slip collar is designed to release the pressure as soon as the dog stops pulling or behaves appropriately, providing immediate feedback. This mechanism is meant to teach the dog to associate proper behavior with a release of pressure, encouraging it to respond to commands and walk calmly on the leash.
